Named after the remote, small rocky island of Muckle Flugga in the Shetland Islands off the coast of Scotland. It is one of the most northern inhabited islands of the United Kingdom and it's name originates from Old Norse "Mikla Flugey" meaning "large steep-sided island". It is also famous for it's Malt Scotch Whiskey!
